"What comes to my mind when I think about being thankful is love, family, and teamwork. I enjoy my life and everyone that has entered it. My mom has motivated me the most and has always been there for me. She has pushed me forward to reach my dreams and spread the joy of life. Each day I learn something new and with it I learn how to become a better person. I could never express the level of gratitude I have for every person that has touched my life. Even the simple things such as a smile, a laugh, and sometimes a hug. These simplest things are what keep me going. By expressing happy thoughts and appreciation for others, it shows we care. My team on the Medical Oncology Unit is like family. We look out for each other and are always there when someone needs a hand or an ear to listen. This is what makes the world a better place. I am truly thankful to have so much love in my life." – Julianna Kimball, RN, Medical Oncology Unit
